To Attach a Reference

  1. Click the Attach Reference icon ( Drawing > Attach > Reference ).

    The Attach Reference dialog opens.

  2. In the Attach Reference dialog, select the DGN file that contains the model to attach as a reference.
  3. In case of a composition file, you can also attach IFC files as references.
  4. From the Attachment Method option menu, select Interactive.
  5. Click Open.
  6. In the Reference Attachment Settings dialog, adjust settings as required.
  7. Click OK.
